The hotel still retains much of its historic character and charm including inglenook fireplaces, sloping floors and a wealth of original oak beams. Since being refurbished in October 2006, the hotel now offers a wonderful blend of both the old and the new under one roof. A lively high street venue, The Bull Hotel offers live sports in the main bars and live music every Friday and Saturday night. Rooms can be noisy on these nights until midnight.
